Sanchayita is a strategy and investment executive with over 26 years in various leadership positions, developing and executing strategies and transforming ideas for business growth into action. She currently runs Perennate Strategies, an independent venture focused on insights-driven strategy
Mary C. Bujold
President
Mary has 40 years of experience in real estate research and consulting and is considered a market expert in the field of residential real estate and in market analysis for financial institutions. She regularly testifies as an expert witness for eminent domain, tax appeal and other types of real estate litigation. As President, she heads projects for large-scale land use and redevelopment studies including downtown revitalization for private developers and municipalities as well as private developers and universities on their student housing needs. Mary frequently gives presentations at seminars and workshop sessions on current real estate market topics.

Matt Mullins
Vice President Business Development
Matt Mullins brings 25 years of real estate consulting and advisory service experience to Maxfield Research & Consulting. Matt has managed and directed real estate analysis projects locally, regionally, and nationally for a broad spectrum of private and public sector clients. Matt’s experience canvasses a variety of real estate and land use types, including: single-family and multifamily housing, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, entertainment, tourism, transit-oriented developments, among others. Matt is a trusted adviser whom industry leaders regularly rely on for forthright insight into the real estate market. Matt frequently presents real estate findings and emerging trends to public sector entities and professional trade organizations. In addition to his strategic research and consulting responsibilities, Mr. Mullins manages and implements business development strategies and marketing initiatives for Maxfield. Furthermore, he oversees and mentors other Maxfield advisors. Mr. Mullins joined Maxfield Research in January 2003. Matt’s previous experience was as a consultant for other nationally and globally based advisory service firms providing real estate advisory services.

Joe Hollman
Director of Research
As a former city planner and commercial real estate professional, Joe has over 25 years of experience in the research, analysis and presentation of data relevant to the real estate industry. He has expertise in commercial real estate, housing, city planning, location analytics, and demographic analysis. Prior to joining Maxfield Research, Joe was a member of the national research team for Cushman & Wakefield, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms. In this role, he conducted research and analyses focusing on the office, industrial and retail real estate markets in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Before joining the commercial real estate industry, Joe was a planner for the following organizations: City of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; Arrowhead Regional Development Commission in Duluth, Minnesota; and, Peoria County, Illinois. As a planner, he contributed to the creation of multiple comprehensive plans, land use studies, zoning ordinances and site assessments.

Senior Research Associate
Brian Smith has over 20 years of experience in real estate research and consulting with Maxfield Research. Brian imparts his expertise in all product types provided by Maxfield Research & Consulting. Brian has conducted analysis and consulting on studies locally, regionally, and nationally for both public and private sector clients.
Brian directs and leads analysis on the vast array of products provided by Maxfield Research including active adult and senior housing, affordable and market rate rental housing, comprehensive housing needs analysis, transit-oriented development, commercial, and banking institutions.

Rob Wilder
Senior Research Associate
Rob joined Maxfield as a Research Analyst in December of 2013. Since joining Maxfield, Rob has been integral to wide variety of real estate research projects including Market Rate General Occupancy Rental, Workforce LIHTC Developments, Single-family and Townhome Development, Senior Housing, Mixed-use Projects and Comprehensive Housing Needs analyses. Rob routinely applies his educational background in Economics to his research assignments. He is passionate about staying on top of economic and market trends, and not afraid to take deep dives into the data to provide thoughtful and comprehensive analyses to help clients make crucial decisions. Most recently, Rob has worked on research assignments in the Twin Cities Metro Area, Greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Washington State.

Jessica Van Voorhis
Research Associate
Jessica joined Maxfield as a Research Associate in 2015. Prior to joining Maxfield, Jessica worked for the City of Victoria, MN as a Planning and Public Works Technician. Jessica has experience in research, demographic analysis and housing needs. Since joining the firm, Jessica has completed a variety of housing studies related to senior housing developments, moderate income rental housing, child care, and general occupancy rental developments. Further, she has completed Comprehensive Housing Needs Analyses for City and County governments in Minnesota and North Dakota. Jessica is enthusiastic about working with the data to develop effective insights and actionable recommenations for communities as they plan for the needs of their residents now and in the future.

Max Perrault
Senior Research Associate and GIS Technician
In January 2017, Maxim joined Maxfield Research and Consulting as a Research Associate. Prior to joining Maxfield, Maxim worked in the public sector as a GIS/CAD Technician for Racine County Public Works in Southeastern Wisconsin. Maxim brings with him expertise and professional background in land management, GIS & AutoCAD software, zoning administration, and familiarity with county operations and local government. Max has worked on several projects related to multifamily housing including projects in the Twin Cities, Milwaukee Metro Area, the Chicagoland Area, and the Seattle Metro Area. He has also worked on Comprehensive Housing Needs studies for City and County HRA/EDA’s throughout Minnesota and Iowa.

David Sajevic
Research Associate
David’s background is in real estate research, consulting, and project management. David has proudly completed some of Maxfield Research’s largest Projects—Southwest Light Rail Transit, East Central Regional Housing Collaborative, and South Central Dakota Regional Council comprehensive housing studies. Prior to Maxfield Research, David managed a major GIS data project for the State of Minnesota that impacted cities, counties, and tribal nations. David has completed real estate projects in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
