Maxfield Research Inc. was founded in 1983 by Lee Maxfield. At that time, Lee Maxfield was an independent real estate consultant preparing market feasibility studies. Lee founded Maxfield Research Inc. with Gary Solomonson, another market consultant. In 1984, Gary left the firm to pursue other interests. Although Lee Maxfield passed on in 1994, Maxfield Research Inc. carries on and has expanded the firm that Lee Maxfield founded more than 25 years ago. We have gradually evolved from conducting housing market feasibility studies to our current diverse range of business that includes not only housing analysis, but also office, retail, industrial analyses, recreational studies, analyses for master-planned and mixed-use communities, downtown redevelopment assessments, site selection studies, financial institution studies, hospitality analyses and other real estate related consulting assignments.
The hallmark of our work is an in-depth analysis of primary field work combined with secondary data. Our work is customized to meet the individual needs of our Clients. We provide our Clients with important insight into real estate market trends so they may make well-informed decisions as they pursue their projects.
Maxfield Research Inc. works with a variety of public and private sector clients. Approximately 60% of our work is completed for the private sector and 40% for the public sector. This Client base enables us to clearly understand the issues that face both groups in successful real estate development.
